1. Rhone Alps It received nearly 22 million tourists in 2008 tricolor. They come to ski in the Alps and taste the specialties of Lyon.
2. Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur The PACA region is the second favorite holiday destination of the French. She welcomed 17.9 million in 2008. The myth of Saint-Tropez and the beautiful beaches of the Côte d'Azur is not about to fade.
3. Ile-de-France In 2008, Paris and its region received nearly 15 million travelers. We note that vacationers perform mainly short stays. Its famous monuments, its rich heritage and its many leisure activities are strong attractions for Paris. Versailles and its castle and other outlying communities also contribute to the power of attraction of the Ile-de-France.
4. Pays de la Loire It is their fourth favorite vacation place has seen since coming 14.5 million citizens. Both the board water and land, this area attracts vacationers looking for beaches in Loire-Atlantique, history, including Nantes (my hometown!) , and greenery in the Vendee.
5. Britain
